The average daytime temperature ranges between 84-88 degrees Fahrenheit (29-31 degrees Celsius). Summer temperatures rarely exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius)

Drinking Water - Barbados' water supply is very safe and you can drink water directly from the tap. Bottled water is widely available if you prefer. Remember to drink plenty of water (or other fluids) to prevent dehydration.

Electricity - 115/230 volts 50 cycles. Many hotels provide converters for European and Asian appliances. North American appliances do not need converters.

Currency - The currency of Barbados is the Barbados Dollar (BBD). $1.98 BDS is equivalent to $1.00 U.S. US currency is accepted across the island. Travelers cheques in U.S., U.K. and Canadian funds are also cashable at many outlets.
