The culture of Antigua and Barbuda is a classic example of creole culture. It was derived from the mixing of the Caribs (Amerindian), Arawak (West African) and British cultural traditions, as well as from neighboring islands. These influences can be seen in the music (reggae from Jamaica), food (roti from Trinidad) and everyday customs and traditions by the local people.
